I believe that our modern culture does not support being well and aging healthily but we are meant to be well and can be when we listen to our body’s needs and take action.
My passion is helping women not only live their best lives now but also to stay healthy and functional as they age.
Hi, I’m Kim, and I help mid-life women struggling with stubborn weight gain, digestive distress, and poor sleep make sustainable changes to their diet and lifestyle so they have the energy and vitality to live their fullest lives today and enjoy better health outcomes tomorrow.
Do you find yourself unable to shed unwanted weight, especially around your middle? Do you often feel bloated and tired? Is poor sleep, fatigue, and low energy making it hard for you to live your life to the fullest?
How would it feel to bring your body back into balance, and to have the energy you desire to accomplish your goals and pursue your dreams?
Wouldn’t you love to know that you’re creating a more vibrant, healthy quality of life now that will continue even as you age?
I did too! That’s why I set out to create a Wellness Transformation Program that would allow me to maintain a healthy weight, reduce my risk of systemic disease, and boost my energy and vitality, while also enabling me to enjoy delicious, nourishing foods.
My Story
Beginning as a young adult, I gravitated toward holistic health (eating organically grown and seasonal foods from a local farm, farmers’ market, or even growing my own); using herbs and food as nourishment and medicine; finding ways to enjoy exercise (especially outdoors or with friends), and always looking for alternatives or complements to Western medicine.
But several years ago, along the way of a modern, busy life as a mom and business owner, many of the things I knew supported my health and well-being fell to the wayside. Modern conveniences and often relying on caffeine and sugar for energy led to a diet and lifestyle that had begun depleting my inner resources.
Eventually, under the stress of selling a business, supporting my aging mother, and moving our home, I got my wake-up call. The truth is that the root causes of my health issues had been brewing for years, and the additional emotional and physical stress was enough to finally take things over the top.
I began experiencing weight gain I couldn’t control regardless of how hard I thought I was trying, digestive distress, fatigue, blotchy skin, increasing cholesterol, a distressed thyroid and generally feeling overwhelmed most of the time. Watching my mom fade away from Alzheimer’s disease and my dad struggle to recover from a stroke really made me want to do everything I could to take better care of myself; I knew I had to do more than just take a higher dosage of thyroid medication and power on. I had always wanted to study at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and with the changes in my life, I had an opportunity to make it happen.
During the course of my studies, I learned the importance of a truly holistic approach to healing and wellness, encompassing areas such as nutrition, sleep, movement, community, purpose and spirituality. I realized I needed to find a better state of balance in many areas of my life, something that is easily forgotten in our crazy modern world and as a busy mom and/or professional, especially as you age.
When I began making holistic changes to my diet and lifestyle, within weeks, I was waking up feeling much more refreshed, my skin started to improve, I began gradually losing weight without dieting (and feeling satiated!), and over time my digestion improved and I was feeling so much better.
My Work As A Health Coach
Since graduating from IIN at the start of 2020, I’ve had the privilege of working with many women to help them see similar results in their own lives.
My clients typically lose weight, have more energy, better sleep, and better digestion by the end of our time working together, and are so happy to be living with more vitality and balance!
I have experienced such deep fulfillment from helping my clients improve their well-being and learn how to better take care of themselves and their families going forward. There is nothing that makes me happier than helping someone to realize how good it feels to treat yourself well, making living a healthier lifestyle not just easier but compelling.
"Kim has been a wonderful guide on my journey to improve my health and overall well-being. She is an excellent listener, asks insightful questions, and is patient and thoughtful. She is very knowledgeable on a variety of topics across many health and lifestyle areas and has a gift of explaining them in an understandable way. She has guided me on a path to better nutrition, resulting in the loss of excess weight and the adoption of healthier eating habits, and she has helped me to be intentional in making healthier lifestyle choices. She provided accountability without being judgmental and was always encouraging and positive. I highly recommend Kim as a health and wellness coach."

So Why Choose Me As Your Coach?
1) I understand your struggles
I understand that it’s very challenging to stay healthy in our modern-day, busy world where we don’t always have access to basic things like clean air, clean water and healthy food. For example, it takes me half an hour to drive to our farmer’s market where I can buy locally grown, organic food at a reasonable price, but I don’t always have the time to make the trip and then I just have to do my best. You’re often going against the norm when you are practicing a healthy lifestyle, and often when traveling or dining out with friends, it truly is a challenge to make healthy choices. But despite the obstacles, I’ve managed to overcome my health challenges and get to a point in my life where I’m truly thriving. Part of my success was that I found it so helpful to have an advocate and be held accountable in order to successfully implement new practices, which is why I firmly believe in the power of health coaching to enable you to reach your own goals.

Your body wants to be well and can be when you listen to what it needs and take action.
True wellness, thriving, goes beyond the absence of disease and encompasses body, mind and spirit.
Sustainable change is achieved by taking one step at a time to create new habits that are driven by you and fit in with your lifestyle.
As an Executive Coach, I am often looking for practitioners who may provide services to those that I coach and I also work with the practitioner first to have my own experience. I am thrilled to have worked with Kim who has made a true difference in how I "feed my body" and as a result how I feel. I learned far more than I expected about my gut health, have expanded my ways of feeding my gut with probiotics and prebiotics that come from real foods not supplements, experimented with new recipes and ingredients and most importantly I feel amazing. I lost some weight without paying attention to it, my energy has been steadier, my gut and my overall sense of being is simply much happier. Kim listens deeply to what you want, how you feel and tailors her approach to who and where you are - a very individualized approach and I highly recommend her as a Health Coach!
